Remember, remember the Lord in meditation, and find peace;all sorrows and doubts are erased

Those who meditate on the Naam (the Divine Name) and dedicate themselves to honest effort are blessed. O Nanak, their faces are radiant with spiritual joy, and countless others are liberated along with them. (Japji Sahib, Pauri 2)

This line reminds us that a life centred on Naam brings light not only to the individual but to the community around them. Nitnem the daily recitation of Gurbani, helps Sikhs stay disciplined, spiritually connected, and guided by the Guru’s wisdom in every action.

By beginning and ending the day with prayers, the mind is purified, discipline is strengthened, and seva (selfless service) becomes natural. Nitnem ensures that we remember Waheguru at all times, allowing us to rise above worldly distractions and walk the Guru’s path of truth, humility, and compassion.
